Description
"Double Date" is a truly one-of-a-kind piece of art created from a hunt I'll never forget in my favorite place to hunt turkeys, the mountains of North Carolina. These two toms are trying their hardest to put on a show for a couple of hens, but both seem to be a little unimpressed in the moment. The mountainside bench that I painted these four turkeys on was covered with a variety of vegetation and plants, with warm evening sunlight lighting the scene up from behind.
