Description
A dominant bull elk overlooks his territory, steam rolling out of his nostrils as he stares down something in the distance. He stands tall in the cold, snowy terrain - a true depiction of the untamed wilderness he calls home. This piece was the sixth of one of my paintings to be featured on the cover of Outdoor Life Magazine, celebrating its “Wilderness Issue” for the winter of 2020.
