On todays episode I start a new series called "Rough Sketches."
I always start a new piece with a rough sketch, including basic tools, a simple concept, but a big idea. In the same way, a lot of outdoor brands and personalities start out in similar fashion. You're hustling, creating and grinding, learning to fly the plane and improvising as you go. I want to hear the interesting stories of behind the scenes with each guest. The wins and losses, and the humble beginnings each one experienced.
Today, I'm with my mom, Cindy Kirby, and we hear some cool stories on the early years, some advice she has for managing people, and maintaining a healthy marriage.
