This is Diesel. Cool name, cool dog, and cool owners. This 18"x24" original oil was a commissioned piece and so much fun to work on. Drew and Jessica, Diesel's owners, are good friends of ours from Georgia. In preparing for this piece, we met up with them and Diesel to photograph him one evening at Lake Norman. From there I went back to the studio and added the ducks, platform, and background. Diesel has seen a lot of these days over the years, and now Drew and Jessica can remember him that way forever.
