Description
I started this painting as a live demo at the SportDog booth at SHOT Show one year in Las Vegas. They were celebrating their anniversary and I was a form of live entertainment during the after hours event. At the end, attendees put their name a bucket to be randomly drawn to win the original painting.
I completed most of the block-in and some detail in the hour I had to paint, but there's no way I could complete the entire thing. So I brought it home on the plane, added more detail and finished it out back in my studio. Then I framed it and shipped it out to the winner out west.
